Halfmoon Cottage

Nestled at the head of Akaroa Harbour, in Barrys Bay, Halfmoon Cottage offers accommodation with spacious rooms, shared bathrooms, a well-equipped shared kitchen, dining, lounge and beautiful gardens with hammocks and verandahs around the whole house. Also provided are BBQ facilities.

Guests can enjoy kayaking, using bikes and walking to explore the harbour and surrounding mountains and bays.

The guesthouse is a 5-bedroom villa built in 1896 and is self catering. Guests provide their own breakfast and meals and have access to the shared kitchen, lounge, dining area and bathrooms.

Christchurch is 65 km from the Guest house. The nearest airport is Christchurch International Airport, 75 km from Halfmoon Cottage. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that there is a 2.5% charge when you pay with a credit card.
