The Vean

Set on a rural country estate, The Vean is in the heart of Cornwall. In the village of Caerhays, this luxury Georgian country house offers the perfect secluded self-catering getaway. Each bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom, has bathrobes, a hairdryer, and complimentary shampoo/bodywash. All rooms have a TV and radio, and some rooms feature garden views and a dressing room. The ground floor has a large dining room with a table that seat 16. You can laze the day away in our living room or TV/Snug room. The Vean has a well-equipped kitchen for any budding cooks. There are also numerous pubs and restaurants a short drive away. The Vean can also recommend some local private Chefs who can be booked if you require a special meal or two. With a garden and terrace, The Vean is just 25 minutes walk (5-minute drive) from Caerhays Castle, which overlooks the secluded Porthluney Beach. Guests can enjoy coastal walks along the Southwest Coastal Path, which runs alongside the large estate Please inform The Vean in advance of your expected arrival time. If you wish to dine at the restaurant, you must make a booking prior to arrival. Dogs are welcome at The Vean, however, they must stay in the heated external kennels as they are not permitted in the main house.
