El Faro Escandinavo

Before we decided to build our bed & breakfast, we searched the whole coast from Pedernales in the north to Salinas in the south. When first seeing San Lorenzo and its majestic cape and rocks it was love at first sight. Our Faro should be built here - or not at all. What we offer you is peace and quiet, no disco "action", no exciting shops. Above all you can enjoy the natural wilderness of the Pacific Coast, the eternal surf, wind and amazing bird life. From June through September you will almost certainly be able to see at close range the humpback whales that have come from the Antartica to give birth to their calves. Primates roam the cloud forest just a mile from the Faro, where you can see them during an early morning hike. A full day excursioncan take you to the "Mini Galpagos" - Isla de la Plata - where you can experience an enviroment very similar to Galpagos. Our Friends in the village of San Lorenzo live modest lives. If you can speak few words of Spanish you will find them friendly, curious and helpful. San Lorenzenos are quite simply very nice people ! Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a bar, El Faro Escandinavo offers breakfast and beach service is San Lorenzo. Internet access is available via modem in the bar area. The property is located right on the beach itself.
