Lower House

We only take one set of guests at a time so we are able to focus on individual needs. We offer an authentic farmhouse with lockable barn space for guests motor bikes or bicycles. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Lower House is a Grade II listed farmhouse with extensive gardens. Situated in the village of Bucknell, it offers free Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking.

The suite offers a sitting area with a pull-out bed and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. It also includes a double bedroom and a bathroom.

In the mornings, Lower House serves traditional full English breakfast. Packed lunches are also available. Special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior request. Bucknell is home to shops and local pubs, which serve food.

With private lock-up facilities for bicycles and motorbikes, Lower House is ideal for exploring the nearby historic towns and attractions within this border region. The village of Ludlow is just 15 miles away and Bishops Castle is just a 30-minute drive. Guests can also visit Croft Castle and Parkland after 20 minutes drive.
