Burnside Farm Bed & Breakfast

Burnside House was completely renovated in 2010, opening for business as a 4 Star Bed and Breakfast in 2011. Visit Scotland later upgraded us to 4-star Gold status, recognising that our B+B excels in the areas of customer care and hospitality. We also continue to receive Visit Scotlands "Taste our Best" quality assurance award. Our breakfasts include a wide range of locally sourced and homemade foods including traditional Orcadian bannocks (flatbreads). Burnside is a working dairy farm where Robbie works long hours with his fine herd of Friesian cows. All the milk goes to the local dairy co-operative whose award-winning cheese is included in the breakfast menu. We are situated about 1 mile from the town centre (Pier Head) - an easy walk to the range of eateries where you can enjoy an evening meal. Located within 7 km of Standing Stones of Stenness and 9 km of Ring of Brogdar in Stromness, Burnside Farm Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation with a TV. Free WiFi is featured.
