Sorbietrees B&B

In the Scottish borders, around 23 miles north of Carlisle, Sorbietrees B&B offers high-quality bed and breakfast accommodation. In an 18th-century farmhouse, its individually styled rooms have free Wi-Fi and on-site parking.

Each room has en suite or private bathroom facilities with a shower or bath and complementary toiletries. All have a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and tea and coffee facilities.

A full cooked breakfast starts the day, with eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, black pudding, haggis, mushrooms, hash browns and fried bread. There is also cereal, jams, marmalade, honey, toast, yoghurt, croissants and fruit, all served with tea, coffee or juice.

Newcastleton is right on the edge of the spectacular Kielder Water & Forest Park, covering 250 square miles just over the English border in Northumberland.
