Ramblers Rest

In the very heart of the Peak District National Park, this quaint stone building dates back to the 17th Century. The Rambers Rest provides its guests with cooked breakfasts and free WiFi throughout.

The bedrooms show rustic features such as beamed ceilings and guests can eat breakfast by the large fireplace in the dining room.

The village of Castleton is 15 minutes drive from the popular hiking area of the Ladybower Reservoir, with Howden Reservoir a little further beyond. The village has a selection of pubs and restaurants, and the nearby Sicklehome Golf Course provides sport in the stunning surroundings of the Hope Valley.

The Hope Railway Station provides links to Sheffield and Manchester, both under an hours drive from the village. Guests are kindly asked to inform Ramblers Rest by telephone with their expected arrival time.

Please note breakfast is served between 08:30 - 09:30. Earlier continental breakfasts are available on request.
