Located in the Ibusuki hot-spring district, Tamaya Youth Hostel features affordable dormitory-style rooms with bunk beds. Guests can enjoy Sunamushi Sand Baths at the Kagoshima Bay which are within a 5-minute walk from the property. JR Ibusuki Train Station is a 20-minute walk away.

The air-conditioned rooms are separated into male and female rooms. Bathrooms and toilets are shared.
