Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary, set up in 1964 to rehabilitate orphaned baby orang utans, is a 40-minute drive away. Labuk Bay is an hours drive away. Cooled with air conditioning and a fan, the non-smoking regular and dormitory rooms come with an electric kettle, towels, linen and blankets. Bathroom facilities are shared. Guests can head to the 24-hour front desk for assistance with luggage storage, or to request for an iron or hairdryer. There is also a common laptop for use.
