Kamata

A beloved retreat for well-known writers, Kamata boasts Japanese-style rooms with a private hot spring bath, a balcony and soothing nature views. It has 2 outdoor hot spring baths for private use, while massages and beauty treatments can be arranged.

Rooms feature a tatami (woven mat) floor, low furniture and a seating area with chairs. A personal attendant spreads Japanese futon bedding in the evening, and guests can lounge in a yukata robe and watch the LCD TV.

Guests at the historical hotel can enjoy singing karaoke, relax with a read at the library, or use free Wi-Fi at the lobby. They can unwind with a stroll in the lush garden, which features a pond. Free parking is available.

In the evening, your personal attendant at Kamata lays the table in the guest room with a traditional multi-course dinner, featuring seasonal local specialities. A sumptuous Japanese breakfast is served in the morning.

Hotel Kamata is a 10-minute drive from JR Yugawara Station. Its 15km from the Yugawara Golf Course, and around a 20-minute drive from both Tenshozan Jinja Shrine and Makuyama Koen Park. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the propertys public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. You must inform the hotel in advance what time you plan to check in. If your check-in time changes, please update the hotel.
