Casa do Vale da Lama EcoHotel & Retreat Centre in a farm is a 43 hectare property with an outdoor salt water swimming pool, in Quinta do Vale da Lama. It is a 19-minute drive from Lagos and an 11-minute drive from Meia Praia Beach.

The resort consists of 9 spacious rooms, all with en suite bathroom. Casa do Vale is a solar passive house, where temperature is controlled without any use of electricity, only by sunlight and firewood.

Every morning a reinvigorating vegetarian breakfast will be served which is included in the rate.

The main hall has free WiFi, a small library with a variety of sustainability related books and its right beside the swimming pool, where guests can enjoy the sun or relax in the hammock. The resort features an onsite small organic shop, with organic food, natural crafts & preserves and sale of organic vegetables straight from the farm. Guests are welcome to take part in farm activities, upon request.

Lagos is a 15-minutes drive and Portimo is a 23-minute drive away, and features a lively city centre, a well-known museum and a marina. The nearest golf course is a 9-minute drive.
