Five Senses Hostel

Five Senses Hostel is a 15-minute walk from Coimbra University and just 500 metres from the Central Bus Station. The Coimbra Train station is a 1 km away while the famed Joanina Library is 1.5 km away.

With a homey atmosphere coupled with renovated interiors, the hostel features accommodation in twin rooms, family rooms and dormitories. Each heated unit is decorated in predominantly white tones, with modern furnishings and exposed wooden ceiling beams. The private rooms come with their own bathroom while dormitories have access to shared bathroom facilities. Free WiFi is provided.

Breakfast is served daily in the Five Senses bright and cozy meal area. Guests are welcome to cook their own meals in the communal kitchen at their disposal, enjoying them in the elegant shared dining room. Coimbras centre features various restaurant options, many within a 5-minute walk.

The courtyard is accessible to all guests and features areas destined for sun lounging, as well as a relaxing garden. Later in the evening guests can also choose to watch some TV in the comfy living room. There is a laundry room, for guests convenience.

At just a 5-minute walk is the start of Sofia Street, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The bank of the Mondego River is also within a 5-minute walk from the hostel. The unit is 2 km from the Botanical Garden and 3.4 km from the Coimbra Stadium. Porto International Airport is 130 km from the Five Senses Hostel. Please note that for guests staying in the dormitories, each towel costs EUR 1.50. For guests staying in the rooms, the price of the towels is included.
