Hellmut Wamer Youth Hostel Lorrach

Featuring a table tennis court, garden terrace and barbecue facilities, this hostel is located a 5-minute drive from the Swiss border in Lrrach. Jugendherberge Lrrach offer views of Basel.

Each room at Jugendherberge Lrrach is bright and simply furnished. They feature a wardrobe for clothing storage and a private bathroom.Each guest receives 30 minutes free WiFi.

A breakfast buffet is provided, and dinner is available on request for an additional charge. Guests are also invited to venture outside on sunny days to enjoy Jugendherberge Lrrachs barbecue facilities.

While sports enthusiasts will enjoy the tennis court, younger guests will appreciate the hostels games room. Jugendherberge Lrrach is an ideal base for exploring the local area by bike or on foot.

Providing direct connections to Basel in 20 minutes, Lrrach Main Train Station is situated 1 km away from the hostel. Free on-site parking is also provided. All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hostelling International. Membership can be purchased at the reception upon arrival. It costs EUR 7 per year for German guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 22.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above. Each year from June onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time.

Foreign guests need a Hostelling International Card (EUR 18), if they are not member of a national Hostelling Federation. For single overnight stays, a Welcome Stamp can be purchased for EUR 3.50.

WIFI is available in public areas free of charge.
