This charming home is located on a slope of Montemuro, just 4 km from the Douro riverside area. The Casa de Tapadeir features an outdoor swimming pool and a green garden.

The living room comes with sofas, flat-screen satellite, DVD player and a PS2 game console. It also includes 2 private bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. WiFi is available in all areas, at an extra fee.

Guests can take full advantage of the equipped kitchen in order to prepare their own meals in comfort. Meals can be taken al fresco in the outdoor dining area available. Alternatively, there are several local restaurants available within 6 km of the house, most serving traditional Portuguese meals.

The whole outdoor area is distributed through 3 terraces. It includes several fruit trees, gardens and a centennial oak tree, all amidst tranquil surroundings. The entire property has scenic views from its private pool over the Cabrum Valley. Guests can go cycling and discover the trails of the surrounding area by utilizing one of the propertys free bicycles.

Oliveira do Douro is a 13-minute drive from the Casa de Tapadeir. The house is 4 km from Caldas de Aregos, a spa facing the Douro River. Cinfes is a 27-minute drive away. Viseu is a 59-minute drive while Peso da Rgua is 25 km away.

Porto International Airport is an 80-minute drive away while the Caldas de Aregos Train Station is 5 km away. Please inform Casa de Tapadeiro in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A security deposit of EUR 150 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Please note that the 40% of the total amount charged on the day of booking must be paid by bank transfer. The remaining amount must be paid in cash upon arrival.
