La Casa Verde - Eco Guest House

The owners of la casa verde, Rebecca and Douglas Greenshields, constructed la casa verde with their own hands, as sustainably as possible using local materials that have the least impact on the environment. We reuse, recycle and locally source the majority of the products we use everyday. We provide guests with fresh drinking water filtered onsite, as well as a fresh breakfast buffet prepared from scratch.

At la casa verde we have created a restful, homey atmosphere where you can soak in the peaceful, tranquility of nature and get a good nights sleep, yet still close enough to all the activities that Banos has to offer. We are a 25 to 30 minute walk or a short five-minute taxi ride into the center of Banos. For our guests interested in local activities, we can provide information about hot springs and local hikes, have bicycles delivered, connect guests with canyoning, rafting trips and canopy tours (zip-lining), provide private guided tours to the jungle and other local sites, or help with other available activities that they may want to experience. And our in-house masseuse is available for massages and beauty treatments.

The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Please note late check-in (after 22:00) must be notified to the property.

A conservation fee of US$4 will be added to one-night stays, to account for the labor and environmental costs of turning over the room after just one night.
