Located right in the Amazon, Ecolucerna lodge is 23 km river down from Puerto Maldonado just a 1-hour boat ride, and near the Tambopata National Reserve. The rustic style bungalows have been built keeping the harmony with the environment and fully integrated into the jungle. The rooms at this property feature a private bathroom with a shower, a seating area, a fan, a mosquito net and a balcony providing garden and river views. Ecolucerna offers all-inclusive rates which include: - Airport to lodge shuttle service (round-trip). - Breakfast. - Free welcome drink. Additionally, Ecolucerna lodge has an on-site bar where guests can enjoy a drink. Guests can also request packed lunches. ISULA RESTAURANT: The is a restaurant on site, which serves as is dinnig room, reception and community lounge. The restaurant offers Amazon dishes. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Ecolucerna Lodge Tambopata in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests are advised to bring the following: - Mosquito repellent - Flashlight - Binoculars - Sunscreen - Walking shoes - Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Access to Ecolucerna lodge is through a motor bote and takes approximately 2 hours. Due to its location, guests partaking in any outdoor activities must be accompanied by a guide. There is no public or terrestrial transport to Ecolucerna lodge. Children between the ages of 5 and 11 pay 50% of the rate, children under 5 years dont pay. -- Based on local tax laws, all citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 18%. * This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger wont be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).
