Riverside

The hotel was very clean and the bed was really comfortable Also both the accomodation and the food prices were fair Plus the channel view with ducks and other water birds were really good at the room

It was really far away from the city center There is a metro line about 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel and takes around 45 to 60 minutes to go to the city center by metro It was around 40 by taxi from the city center to the hotel Which means you have to pay around 80 per day for a taxi transfer from and to the hotel to the city center

Great location terrific breakfast lovely staff especially at breakfast

Manager was extremely rude Tried calling reception from my room for 30mins no one answered tried again off mobile no answer went downstairs to complain and was told we are busy can t you see the phone are still ringing Room was not ready at check in time Had to queue twice to check in and get parking sorted waited 20mins to start with when checking in Mentioned at time of booking was a 10 yr anniversary Hotel didn t seem to care Junior suite room with balcony is a rip off You pay for the view only Exec king or exec queen rooms are cheaper but there balconites are double the size and also with the same view Does not make sense Wonderful way to ruin a 10yr anniversary didn t have breakfast because just wanted to leave hotel first thing in the morning

very personable staff

Once again the staff at Hilton were excellent When our taxi did not arrive the duty manager drove us to the event we were attending personally a nice touch This is a comfortable hotel with good facilities and we got a very good price on the room for London

Large and sprawling you can walk a long way to get to the bar It is also a bit out of the way for mainstream London visiting Saying that the ferry gets you over to docklands quite quickly Hilton need to get with the times and provide free WiFi for all in the hotel
