Quinta da Balana

This 16th century stone house is located in Terras do Bouro, within a 20-minute drive from the Peneda-Gers National Park. Quinta da Balana, which includes a garden area with a large granite water tank, a vineyard and mountain and valley views.

This granite house has a spacious lounge with a paneled wood ceiling and a fireplace, a closed balcony with a wooden ceiling, three bedrooms and a kitchen. The living area features sofas and a satellite TV.

Guests are more than welcome to prepare their own meals in comfort. The propertys fully-equipped kitchen features all the necessary utensils to cook food. Barbecue facilities are also available.

The outside area is surrounded by stone walls, and there is a small granite water tank with running water in the garden. Beside the house there is a traditional stone table, which is suitable for open-air meals. Horse riding is available, at an extra fee.

Vieira do Minho is a 50-minute drive away. The green areas of the Peneda-Gers National Park are a 20-minute drive away from the property. The region has a variety of hiking trails, varied plant life and picnic spots to discover, all amidst natural surroundings.

The Porto International Airport is a 60-minute drive away from the Quinta da Balana. Please inform Quinta da Balana in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of EUR 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that 50% deposit charged on day of booking must be paid by Bank Transfer.
