Myoken Tanaka Kaikan

Located in the Myoken Onsen Hot Spring area, Tanaka Kaikan features traditional dinners, indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, and massage services. The Japanese rooms have Amorigawa River views and free Wi-Fi.

Guests at Myokan Tanaka Kaikan sleep in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Rooms are air-conditioned and include a low table with floor cushions. An en suite toilet is included, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths.

The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Kagoshima Airport and JR Hayato Train Station, while JR Kokubu Train Station is a 20-minute drive. Kirishima-jinja Shrine is a 30-minute drive away. Parking is free, and cars can be rented on site.

Certain hot-spring baths can be reserved for private use, for a fee.

A Japanese-style set breakfast is served at the dining room. The multi-course Kaiseki dinners feature seasonal dishes made from fresh local ingredients, and can be served at guests rooms for an additional charge. In-room dining is subject to availability.

Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities. Managed by a private host
