Almaa Sintra Hostel

12th century old farm also known as Quinta, in Portuguese. We use to say this property is like an empty-like space ready to be filled with your necessities. Here you will find not what you look for, but what you need! Almaa Sintra Hostel is located in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, offering dormitory and twin rooms with views over the forested garden. The garden contains walking trails and a vegetable garden.

The hostel is run on ecological principles and much of the furniture in the rooms has been made out of recycled materials. Most rooms have shared bathroom facilities with showers.

A continental breakfast is available and includes vegan, homemade and local products. A kitchen is available for guests use as well. Vegan and biological meals can be served upon previous request.

A colourful lounge offers guests a place to relax with one of Almaa Sintras books or use the free Wi-Fi. There are also computers with internet available. For a more active day, guests can hire a bicycle and discover the surrounding area.

The centre of Sintra is only 2 km away. Praia Grande Beach is 9 km away. Quinta da Regaleira is 400 metres from Almaa Sintra and local buses stop here. Sintra Train Station is a 20-minute walk.
