Monte Santa Catarina

This country house is situated between Monsaraz and artificial Alqueva Lake, and offers an outdoor pool, steam bath and hot tub. Guests can observe the skies over Monsaraz with the on-site telescope.

The charming rooms at Monte Santa Catarina are decorated in orange or blue colours. They offer air conditioning, a TV and tiled floors. Each has a private bathroom.

A breakfast buffet is available in the morning and includes typical Alentejo products. During the day, guests can make use of the communal living room with its cosy fireplace.

The surrounding landscape offers hiking, biking and bird watching opportunities. It is also possible to make a boat trip on the lake, 2 km away, or to arrange a wine tasting trip at the reception. Swimming pool #1 is closed from Mon 30 Nov 2020 until Sun 28 Feb 2021
