Simplon House

With a 100-year history, Simplon House is located 2 minutes by car and 15 minutes by foot from Oeschinen Cable Car and boasts views of the Bernese Alps. It comprises a common living room with comfortable sofas and a dining area with a piano. All wood-panelled rooms at the Simplon House are simply furnished. They come with bunk beds and a wardrobe. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared, located on the floors. Guests can start their day with a breakfast on site. Dinners are available as well, and fondue treats are served on request and at extra cost. Wi-Fi is offered in all areas for free. Free private parking is possible on the property. A bus stops right in front of the building, and the Kandersteg Train Station is reachable in a 25-minute walk. In the wintertime, the town of Kandersteg is a good choice for cross-country skiing, sledging, ice skating, curling or ice climbing. In summer, hiking and alpine trekking can be enjoyed.
