Built 140 years ago, Guesthouse Forrenhsli offers peaceful surroundings in a traditional Appenzell atmosphere. The property is an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking in the Alpstein Region.

Guests are welcome to use the propertys garden and have access to free private parking. Rooms are decorated with rustic furnishings overlooking the surrounding meadow and forest. Guests have access to the shared bathroom facilities.

Appenzell can be reached in 3 minutes by car or public transport. The Steinegg Railway Station is 1 km from Guesthouse Forrenhsli. From here guests can connect to Appenzell, Sankt Gallen and Wasserauen. The Schwende, Unterrain Bus Stop is 600 metres away and connects to Appenzell Train station. Please let Guesthouse Forrenhsli know your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking or contact the property.

Please note that the maximum height of the roof is 190 cm. This is due to the age of the building.
