Ohsho Hotel is a 30-minute drive from JR Yamagata Train Station, where a free shuttle is offered from if requested at time of booking. Maizuru Park is a 15-minute drive away.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a TV, a fridge and an en suite bathroom.

Guests can purchase local goods at the souvenir shop. Photocopying and luggage storage services are available at the 24-hour front desk.

Traditional multi-course dinners featuring local ingredients are served at the private dining room. A Japanese breakfast is available as well. Guests without a meal plan who want to eat dinner at the hotel must make a reservation at least 3 days in advance.

Guests who are having dinner at the hotel must check-in by 19:30.

Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
