Please note that there is a 1.8% charge when you pay with a credit or debit card. Please note that there is a 2% charge when you pay with a Union Pay credit card. Eftpos transactions incur a $0.25 surcharge.

Please note that: You must show a valid Government issued photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Persons wishing to stay in the backpacking dormitory accommodation are required to have with them, a full sized travelers backpack and a passport. A backpack is not required to stay in a single, twin or double room.

City Backpackers HQ has the right to refuse check in if guests are not adhering to the above policy. Group bookings, 8+ people, will need to be approved prior. Has this not been done, check in may be refused.

The latest assisted check in is 12am. Unassisted check in is only available with prior agreed arrangements. Bookings made with arrival after 12am will be marked as a no show and charges are applicable as per the policy of the booking.
