Rivendell

With large windows offering garden and sea views, rooms at Rivendell are very bright. All of them have native wood floors and either private or shared bathrooms with hot running water.

Basic self-serve breakfast is provided from 8.45 to 11.00 h. Yoga lessons can be arranged upon request, whereas access to a wooden hot tub and a hammam is available for a surcharge.

Guests can relax in the garden or book excursions at the tour desk. Rivendell is 1.5 km from Caleta Portales, a fishermens cove where you can find seafood restaurants, and a metro station. Downtown Valparaiso and Via del Mar are 10 minutes away by car.

Rivendell is set in a sloping road. Free parking is possible upon request and is subject to availability. 3 parking spaces are located in front of the gate and there is 1 spot inside the premesis. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests are welcome to pay their pre-payment via bank transfer or Western Union.

The property only takes local (Chile) credit cards, not international credit cards.

Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%.

To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger wont be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).
