Berggasthaus First

Located at 2,200 metres above sea level, Berggasthaus First offers panoramic views of the Jungfrau region and the Swiss Alps. It can be reached only by cable car from Grindelwald and is located in the same building as the cable car station.

The Berggasthaus First offers simply furnished dormitory rooms with bright wooden furniture, shared bathroom facilities, a ski bar, and a lounge. Free WiFi is available in public areas and the guest house offers direct access to the ski slopes. Ski passes are not included in the room price.

During the day, guests can sample Swiss dishes in the on-site restaurant and on the terrace. Half board includes a 3-course menu. Please inform Berggasthaus First in advance of your expected arrival time. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Please note that the property can only be reached by cable car. Depending on the season, the last cable car leaves Grindelwald between 15:45 and 18:00. Please check cable car opening times for further information.
