Houshi Onsen Chojukan

Located along Houshi River, Houshi Onsen Chojukan features a public hot spring bath, Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and Japanese cuisine. A wooden building stemming from 100 years ago, the property breathes a historical atmosphere.

Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor and a low table with seating cushions. A seating area at floor-to-ceiling windows offers nature views, and guests sleep in traditional futon bedding. Yukata robes are provided, while toilets and bathing facilities are shared.

A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room.

The Houshi Chojukan Onsen hotel is a 20-minute drive from arts and crafts village Takumi-no-Sato. Mount Tanigawa-dake can be visited a 1-hour drive away. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the propertys public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Because of the propertys age, guests might see some insects in the building.
