Ryokan Sekiya

Situated next to the Beppu Bay, Ryokan Kappo Sekiya boasts natural hot spring baths and fresh seafood dishes. The lobby offers free Wi-Fi, and parking is available for free.

Featuring a historic charm, each room is fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. A TV and a fridge are provided in the room. Guests can relax on the seating cushions, while wearing yukata robes and sipping green tea.

Sekiya Ryokan provides in-room massages at an extra charge, and offers free luggage storage services. The hot spring baths feature dim lighting to create a relaxing ambience.

The Sekiya specialises in Japanese dishes featuring local seafood, which are purchased straight from the fish market each morning. The dining lounge also offers select sake and shochu bottles.

JR Beppu Station and Jigoku Meguri hot springs are both within a 10-minute drive. Oita Airport is a 40-minute drive from the property. Please inform Ryokan Kappo Sekiya in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the propertys public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests. An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at this property. There are a limited number of parking spots on site, so only 1 car per each room will be accommodated.

Existing beds/extra beds in the Extra Beds Policy means traditional futon mattresses.
