House Hotel

I love the breakfast location for train and tube is excellent

Comfortable room breakfast was ok the location is a big plus near Knightsbridge plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel area and well deserved by bus and tube

The room was tiny compared to Booking s pictures I was expecting the place to be a bit more upscale it is a four stars hotel and the breakfast more sophisticated slices of cheap cheese and ham don t cut it for me in result I think that I paid too much for what we got

The acoustics insulation was not great so much could be heard between rooms

Comfortable bed Nice breakfast room

The number of flights of stairs No lift No help lifting luggage up to the room I hurt my back doing this I was expecting a lift

The location was perfect for us We had booked tickets for The Palladium and it was literally next door to The Courthouse and also a stones throw away from Carnaby Street Soho etc the roof terrace bar was also a lovely surprise and we were lucky enough to enjoy the sunshine up there on our arrival Also loved the history of the building and the way it had been preserved in some areas of the hotel

The bedroom needed a little tlc it was in need of decorating and the sink in the bathroom was badly cracked

Best night s sleep I ve had since before Xmas

No toilet brush in the bathroom

Location was excellent Afternoon tea was very nice

Pillows were awful Switch was hanging out the wall near the sink in the bathroom Breakfast was basic Had to ask for milk The food and the coffee wasn t hot enough The toast took 5 goes to toast Silly things but when you are paying for a 5 star hotel shouldn t really happen

Very good location for the price

The swimming pool does not open until 10 00am which is very poor for someone like me who likes to have a morning swim around 8 00am
