Vavau Villa

The property has been recently renovated (2016) and we have worked to make is a comfortable and relaxing environment for our guest. The villa has a licensed bar and restaurant (Island Fresh- Garden to Plate)). Our focus is on quality fresh food. We have our own organic vegetable garden, pigs and chickens. We are situated 3km from town which mean you can enjoy a quiet relaxed environment whilst still being close enough to join activities in town. We are fortunate to be able to control our local environment. We have a strict no rooster policy. Our nearest neighbor is 200 meters away and this means we do not have issues with barking dogs and church bells at 5 am. Just a 3-minute stroll from Muikilekila Beach, a rock beach facing the harbour of Neiafu, Vavau Villa offers a relaxing retreat with panoramic Pacific Ocean views. Guests enjoy free continental breakfast and free use of bicycles.

The property has its own large market garden and piggery. Guests can enjoy fresh local produce at the onsite restaurant, open 1 August until 31 October, which changes its menu seasonally. You can also enjoy tea, coffee or other beverage at the fully-licensed bar.

All rooms have an en suite bathroom, bathrobe and fan. Quality linen is provided.

The tour desk can arrange whale watching, scuba diving, fishing, snorkelling and island excursions. There is a guest area with sofas and a desk. A 24-hour reception is available.

Vavau Villa Guest House is less than 3 km Neiafu town centre. It is only a 5-minute drive from the villa to Tongan Beach or Ano Beach. Please inform Vavau Villa in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Vavau is a 50 minute flight with local airline Real Tonga from Tongatapu International Airport. There are several flights departing from Monday-Saturday.

Transfers to the property from Vavau Airport for an additional charge. Please inform Vavau Villa in advance if you want to use this service, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.
