Grass Hopper

Completely non-smoking, surrounded by gardens and offering free Wi-Fi throughout, Grass Hopper is 5 minutes from Shinano-Oiwake Train Station via the free shuttle.

Rooms look out on the surrounding greenery and have air-conditioning/heating facilities and a TV. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with other guests. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for an extra cost.

The property is a 15-minute drive from Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza and a 20-minute drive to Sengataki Onsen hot spring. On-site parking is free. For free pick-up at Shinano-Oiwake Train Station, call before boarding the train and inform the property of your arrival time. A convenience store is located a 5-minute walk away.

Guests can chat at the lounge by the wood-burning stove or watch the shared flat-screen TV.

Meals are served at the airy dining room at light wood tables with white tablecloths. A Western dinner featuring local vegetables and a simple Western breakfast with toast is available. All meals must be reserved at least 1 day in advance, and vegetarian meals can be arranged. For free pick-up at Shinano-Oiwake Train Station, call before boarding the train and inform the property of your arrival time.

The property has a curfew at 23:00. Guests cannot enter or leave the property after this time.

To eat breakfast or dinner at the property, a reservation must be made at least 1 day in advance. All meals must be reserved. Dinner is served at 18:30. Breakfast is served at 07:30, 08:00 and 08:30.

The shared bath is available between 15:00 and 09:00.

The number of guests being accommodated per room cannot be changed at the time of check-in.
