Artist Haveli

Welcome to the Artist Haveli (formerly Artist Lodge). We offer a clean, modern hotel built in the traditional haveli architectural style that is famous in this region. We are located in an artist colony where traditional folk musicians and storytellers live; from ancient times until now they have have been entertaining and spreading news through their singing and storytelling.

We are a 10 minute walk from the famous Jaisalmer Fort. Our hotel is small and friendly; its a great place to meet fellow travellers while relaxing on the spacious rooftop terrace with a great view of Jaisalmer Fort. We are located steps away from Sunset Point, the best spot in the city to see the renowned desert sunsets and the Fort.

We have free wifi in the whole building, hot water, can arrange free music concerts with the local musicians, provide travel advice and arrange many activities; including organizing a classic single or multi-night camel or jeep safari and bike rides.
