Although this was our first time as couple my husband and sons have stayed here before on business and leisure Comfortable well appointed business hotel in the Art Deco Neighborhood Rooms are large and well appointed Executive level had jacuzzi extra room and quiet amenities Neighborhood is quiet but close to Vondelpark cool shopping non tourist restaurants and museums

An exercise facility would have been great but there are parks close and neighborhood is great for runners As always more coffee pods and real milk the little ones could be in mini fridge would be a true bonus but an espresso machine is a must so one can t complain

Concierge services were outstanding including dinner recommendations emergency shopping recommendations and transportation recommendations Additionally when barman in training made errors in preparing cocktail senior barman voluntarily explained situation apologized and replace cocktail on his own initiative Idea of raised area for study working space by window was brilliant Finally of course the availability of twin beds rare in London was decisive

Most of the staff were very committed to ensuring we had a pleasant stay

The pillows could be a lot more fluffy

The room was excellent with a great view

The bed wasn t as comfortable as you would expect and the house keeping let standards drop a little

Pleasant quiet leafy location on the southern side of the city with reasonably close access to the main museums

Functional hotel lacking atmosphere and amenities no gym no indoor lounge bar due to refurbishment Restaurant over priced with unconventional menu Rooms were drab aircon was weak and there was noisy plant close to bedroom window

Brilliant place to stay I was travelling on business and the rooms where clean and spacious

I was so disappointed with my evening meal I never complain but the steak was so tough I couldn t eat it If a waiter had come and asked before my knife and fork where placed together I would have sent it back However they offered me a free drink to compensate Was it enough I didn t return the second night because of this and ate else where This was the only thing that let my stay down
