Casa Das Cores

The house is a lovely recuperation of a small rural house. This charming place is located in the centre of the Corte Gafo de Cima village, in the Alentejo region, distance 7 miles from the historical town of Mrtola and is situated within the Natural Park of Guadiana Valley. The owner of this rural house, a environmental Engineer, was very careful to maintained the genuinely and the traditional style of the building, preserving the architecture and using the most traditional restoration techniques. Indoor, is well-coming and very colourfully, the decoration combining the traditional and modern. All the rooms are painted in different warm colours: Yellow, Salmon, Blue and Green, Purple and Red ... as used in Alentejo region.
