location: Fantastically located overlooking the sea and in the middle of Hermanus. Arguably the best location to enjoy the ocean and in particular the annual whale watching season., rooms: These are medium, non sea-facing, size rooms with telephone, TV and tea & coffee making facilities. The rooms are all en-suite and have plenty of cupboard space., restaurant: The breakfast rooms is painted yellow and has sliding doors that open up to give guests a view of the bay. The hotel doesn't serve lunch or dinner as it'is close to all of Hermanus's best restaurants., exterior: This is a historical building that is 2 storeys high, painted white with green roof which is typical of the buildings in Hermanus., lobby: A pleasant small lobby, the reception desk is on the left as you enter the hotel. There is plenty of seating area for guests to relax in and enjoy the views of the sea., general: A lovely very friendly 3* hotel furnished with antique wooden artefacts throughout. The staff are very welcoming and there is a good bar. There is free internet next to reception and a satellite TV lounge. (AHJ 0709)
