The Black Dog Inn

Set in a 19th-century pub just a 10-minute drive from Dorchester town centre, The Black Dog Inn has an outdoor childrens playground. Real ales are served in the traditional bar, and food is served 7 days a week. Each soundproofed room has a flat-screen TV with Freesat.

Free private parking is provided and the seaside town of Weymouth is a 20-minute car journey from The Black Dog.

During the summer months, guests can relax with a drink in the large garden seating area. Full English breakfasts and an evening menu are available in the restaurant.

The bright and airy bedrooms also have an en suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. Please note that a lively pub is located in the hotel and guests may experience noise from the bar during opening hours

Rooms can be accessed via the internal stairs as well, whenever the pub is open - from 11:00 until 23:00. Please note that access to the accommodation is via a single-storey staircase and may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Please note the following restaurant opening hours: Monday to Sunday: 12:00 to 14:30 and 18:00 to 21:00

Please note that The Black Dog is closed between 14:30 and 17:00 from Monday until Saturday. Guests will not be able to check-in during this time, unless arranged in advance.

Please note that early check-in is possible from 13:00 to 14:30.
