The Cross Keys Hotel

This 18th-century, Grade II listed building is situated in the delightful village of Llanymynech, which straddles the border of Shropshire, England; and Powys, Wales.

Located on the Offas Dyke long-distance footpath and now under new management, the Cross Keys is a charming, comfortable base for walking holidays and for exploring the beautiful countryside and local heritage sites. The surrounding landscape offers waterfalls, lakes and mountains.

The Welsh border is a few yards away and the historic towns of Shrewsbury and Oswestry are within easy reach.

The restaurant serves excellent modern British food with an emphasis on fine, fresh, free-range local produce.

Behind the hotel is private parking for guests. There is space for up to 15 cars. Rooms are on the first and second floor, accessible by stairs only.
