This family-run guest house is situated within a peaceful nature reserve on the banks of the Schwarze Ilz river. It stands beside the castle ruins of Hals, 7 km from central Passau.

The Zur Triftsperre is an ideal base for day trips to Passau, the Bavarian Forest, Austria and the Czech Republic. It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. Please note that Monday and Tuesday are rest days in the property. check-in is on the rest of the days from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.

The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
