The Willowsmere

The Willowsmere was built in the 19th-century using Lakeland stone. The Willowsmere is a grand Victorian residence offering rooms with views and free WiFi is accessible throughout.

This adult only property offers rooms that are double-glazed and have fluffy towels and high-quality toiletries. They offer an en suite bathroom, fans and adjustable heating. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and views either to the front towards Orrest Head viewpoint, or to the rear overlooking the award-winning landscaped gardens.

Regular buses pass the guest house and Windermere Station is only a 10-minute walk away, or a 2-minute taxi journey away. Lake Windermere can be reached in 10 minutes by foot and you can enjoy a lakeside stroll onto Bowness.

Guests have access to Choices Health Club for a fee, which is at Troutbeck Bridge in Windermere, a 15 minute walk from the property.
