Despite it s proximity to King s Cross St Pancras the hotel was nice and quiet Very small rooms but well appointed and clean

No heating in one room Continental breakfast only
We booked a double standard room and got a double suite confirmation thinking we had been upgraded On arrival were taken to double standard very small I said no to that and was then given the suite at no extra cost WoW sometimes you win
The property has been entirely renovated very intelligently It looks good and is well thought out The staff is good humored and helpful We were in London to work at the British Library so the location was excellent Good transport around London available and he nearby Berkshire shopping center convenient for its large Waitrose and a good selection of inexpensive restaurants a 15 min walk away
It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit at breakfast Otherwise they were quite satisfying
Whilst checking in a gentleman with mental health problems came into the hotel The member of staff on duty dealt with the situation in a calm manner and was respectful and courteous to the gentleman There was also confusion on our part with our booking which the same member of staff dealt with and sorted for us

Breakfast was ok We were really pleased that we could take breakfast with us when we had to leave before it began
The air in the room was really stuffy not best for the people with asthma The air conditioning was really difficult to use so the temperature changed a lot in the room Some employees seemed a little confused about our questions and we had difficulties to get answers Some were really helpful for example with the air conditioning
Great location within walking distance of King s Cross station Staff was good and the price was reasonable
Breadfast was weak but met our expectations Our room was located right next to the kitchen so the noise was a bit early for us
