A warm and friendly home-away-from-home, Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town.

Buttermilk Lodge is non- smoking, there are 8 Guesthouse bedrooms, these are on the first floor, upstairs, all ensuite with every modern convenience and breakfast is included in these rates. There are 2 x one-bedroom self-catering apartments on the ground floor and 1 x two-bedroom self-catering apartment on the first floor, upstairs.

Apartments are self-catering ( no meals included) and have seperate entrances, living areas and fully equipped kitchens, with cookers and washer-dryers.

Guesthouse rates include an extensive breakfast - a buffet selection and then a choice of breakfast: Irish, smoked salmon and homemade pancakes amongst others. Special diets are catered for, including vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free. All breakfasts are freshly cooked to order.

At Buttermilk Lodge you will find real turf fires and original works of art, as well as lots of local knowledge and information. There is complimentary Wi-Fi and private parking. Patrick and Cathriona breed Connemara Ponies and Sheep on their farm which is located a few miles from the house. guests are welcome to visit during their stay and can meet our dogs Milo, Robbie and Ben if they wish.
