The Bahamas

Situated in the heart of Torquay in Devon, this family-run guest house offers a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere for couples, families and the business traveller.

The Bahamas Hotel offers high-quality guest accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis, with ample free parking for all hotel guests.

The guest house has a great location, just a short, level walk from Torquays main beach and promenade. A further 10-minute walk along the promenade will bring you to the marina and the main shopping area. Closer still are the recently restored Torre Abbey and the English Riviera Centre, with its conference, sporting and leisure pool facilities.

As part of a process of continuous improvement, The Bahamas has recently refurbished some bedrooms, which all include a work desk, tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom. Please inform The Bahamas in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that a non-refundable deposit will be taken upon booking to confirm the reservation. The deposit amount depends on the number of nights booked.

All bedrooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the sun terrace.

Group bookings, including all-male parties will not be accepted. Any such bookings will be cancelled.

Children are only allowed in Family Room and they must be between ages 8 to 16 years.
