Bear Hotel

The historic Bear Hotel is situated within the heart of Havant and was visited by Churchill and Queen Victoria. It offers modern rooms and a traditional restaurant serving fresh, hearty food.

Each of the light and airy rooms features a private bathrooms and free WiFi access. Rooms also include TVs, hairdryers, and tea/coffee-making facilities. Some rooms include stylish leather headboards on the beds.

The cosy Winston Bar and lounge provide relaxing open fires, as well as a range of real ales, wines, and specialty coffees. The hotels la carte restaurant serves traditional, locally sourced dishes. There is also a wide selection of places to eat within the immediate area.

Free parking is available at The Bear, and Havant Rail Station and Havant Bus Station are within a 7-minute walk. Portsmouth and Hayling Island are both only 15 minutes drive away, while the A3(M) is a 5-minute drive. It is not possible to stay at this property for Coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. Please note that family rooms are located above the bar/function room so they may be noisy. Dogs are welcome but with prior arrangement. This information can be added in the Special Request bow at the time of booking.
