Ace Hotel

The executive room was very cheap at that time 64 This gives me free espresso machine use and a slightly bigger room for one person Location is great 5 minutes walk to waterloo bridge and Lion King

Fre alarm went off at 06 14 which disrupted my sleep Staffs did however manage it well and it came out to be a system fault at their basement

Location was excellent

We thought for the room size and facilities it was overpriced because of Christmas shopping we guess

Liked the man at the front entrance who opened the door for you and was really pleased that we could check in early

Me and my partner loved Everything I m already planning my next booking Fantastic hotel and enthusiastic staff who are always on hand to help Our only issue was the heating being too hot technical fault and us being moved rooms The staff went out of their way to compensate for it and ensured our stay was perfect Disregarding the issue that could not have been helped we would still rate our stay as 11 10 I look forward to staying again Thanks

Staff were very attentive excellent service and good location

Everything was top notch The room was spotless the breakfast was amazing and the hotel staff were very helpful

Not one thing

I loved everything about the Strand Palace maybe that s because I ve never really stayed at a higher class hotel before but from the moment the attendant opened the door and carried our luggage the couple of steps upwards to the lobby I fell in love with the place The lobby is spacious and even with bigger groups of tourists it didn t ever really feel crowded Check in went smoothly and the signs on the walls will help You find Your room quickly We had to wait a short time for breakfast on the first morning outside of the restaurant seating area but I like that better than standing around with a loaded tray hunting for a table and the buffet was really offering pretty much all you could ask for All in all I can really only recomment the Strand Palace Hotel expecially if You re sight seeing and want a lot of the major attractions of London within a bare hour walking distance Btw we had room service on our first night because we were winded from the travel and the food was just awesome

Not really that much to do with the hotel itself but there was construction noise in the morning considering the hotel s location that s hardly a surprise Still it s an older building and if You re very sensitive to noises from rooms around You consider bringing ear plugs I didn t find the sounds to be much of a bother but mileages vary
