Almhotel Fichtenheim

The Almgasthof Fichtenheim is located at 1,800 metres above sea level on the Emberger Alm mountain pasture, high above Carinthias Drau Valley. It offers free guided hiking tours, a 120 m sauna area, and free wired internet in the rooms.

Guests can choose from a buffet offer in the evening, where regional as well as vegetarian dishes and special diet menus are available.

In the allergy-free surroundings, guests of Almgasthof Fichtenheim - Emberger Alm can enjoy hiking, hang-gliding, paragliding, and mountain biking, or, if you are an amateur astronomer, admire the stars and unobstructed dark sky above.

On request, a free shuttle service to and from various places, such as Greifenburg Train Station, the hang-gliding and paragliding landing strips, and several starting point for hikes, is provided. To our Almhotel leads a 12 km long, well developed and asphalted mountain road with 23 Serpentines.
