In Galways historic Latin Quarter, The House is an elegant, 4-star hotel just off Quay Square and the Spanish Arch.

Set in an old stone building, The House Hotel has unique art deco interiors and modern facilities. Rooms are all individually decorated and feature soundproofed windows, flat-screen satellite TVs and laptop safes.

Located in the centre of Galway, The House is a 10-minute walk from Galway Cathedral and the National University of Ireland. Numerous independent boutique shops are located nearby, and Salthill and its promenade are just 15 minutes walk away. We are currently undergoing a ground floor refurbishment which is starting on Monday 20th of February and this work will continue for 25 weeks. We are adding the touches to our lobby, new ground floor bedrooms and a new food concept for our guests. During our refurbishment, we will not be in a position to accept lunch, dinner or group dining bookings. We will be offering our guests breakfast and we will be advising our guests to pre book a breakfast time. Afternoon Tea bookings will be available on Saturdays and Sundays. Our Drinks and Cocktails will be available from 3pm until 11pm in our lobby.
