Very modern and clean accommodation and breakfast room

We were in room next to reception and was very noisy all day

The after care I was charged twice for my stay and when I telephoned the comfort inn I was met with aggression I explained on which dates I was over charge and the gentleman Mr Haq told he could only see one payment he started shouting to me when I asked for him to check it again And I was told to send my statement to him These company s are quick to take your money but are slow to do anything for you I then spoke to booking com david who was more than pleasant but still I had to prove to booking com by sending my statement Which is all very well but again I am doing all the work I then spoke to my visa account people then were able to tell me I was being given a refund from comfort inn if Mr Haq had checked properly none of this would be necessary after 2 hours I finally got to the bottom of this My time is very precious to me Not pleased at all

Comfortable bed

Room was far too small Shower too weak Not value for money Coffee too weak

The hotel is very very convenient to bus and trains with plenty of places to eat but if looking for good pub food the Skinners Arms in Judd Street recommended and basic pub food at McGlynns just around the corner in Whidborne Street with a lot less hassle and cigarette smoke The counter staff and kitchen staff were friendly and helpful and both times we stayed our rooms may have been a little unusual this is an old building but they were very comfortable and quiet and they have a LIFT We travelled by cab if unsure of direction but the buses generally were easy to follow The tube is good once you know your way around and the direction you want to travel A great address from which to explore London

We were beautifully looked after and nearby building works did not cause us any noise or inconvenience

Difficult wifi connection need to reboot very often

I booked and paid for this for my daughter and her boyfriend When they arrived they were made to pay again as they would not accept the email I had sent her Disgusted that my daughter was put through quite a lot of stress the whole point of me paying in advance was so that she wouldn t have to

The location the fact is close st Pancras international station

The twin bed for a couple

Central location good Not too far off a main road but far enough Very easy from Kings Cross Station Breakfast room very clean with good choice of continental style breakfast Didn t use the in room kitchen facilities but would have been handy if staying longer Room clean with all the essentials if rather squashed in Kindly stored our bags after check out for a few hours

Room very small barely enough room to walk round bed or put ironing board up Noisy as room at top of stairs leading to breakfast room no chance of a lie in Didn t like the way I was asked for photo ID on arrival as a UK citizen I don t routinely carry my Passport in the U K or my driving licence if I ve travelled by train Didn t like the insinuation that I should carry it at all times but on this occasion they would overlook it I had paid in advance by credit card and had that card with me
