Hotel Wirtshaus Zum Gmsle

The non-smoking Hotel zum Gmsle is located on the outskirts of Schoppernau in the Bregenz Forest. The restaurant has won several awards and serves traditional regional cuisine. The Warth-Schrcken Ski Area, which is linked to the Lech Ski Area, is a 20-minute drive away.

The rooms are furnished in natural wood and feature no artificial materials, making them ideally suited for allergy sufferers. Hotel zum Gmsle features a big terrace and a garden with deck chairs.

The restaurant offers a wide range of fine wines and gluten-free dishes. It is closed from the 22 October 2017 until the 15 December 2017.

Hotel zum Gmsle is right next to the cross-country ski run and the winter hiking trails. The ski bus stops right in front of the hotel and takes you to the cable car for the Diedamskopf Ski Area in 7 minutes.

From 01 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included with a minimum stay of 3 nights. With this card, guests can use all public buses, swimming pools and cable cars for free.

The restaurant in the Gmsle is closed from the beginning of November to mid-December, as well as one week after Easter until the beginning/mid-May. During this time, the rooms are offered with bed and breakfast.

The hotel is open almost all year round. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Breakfast is available for guests on the rest days.
