Panorama Gasthof Burgschnke

This family-run 3-star superior hotel is set in a unique location directly next to Thann castle, in the heart of Franconia, just 20 km south-east of Nuremberg. Free WiFi is included.

The Panorama-Gasthof Burgschnke offers a wonderful view of the romantic Schwarzachtal valley, either from the sun-filled panoramic conservatory or the outer hotel terrace.

The rooms were redesigned in 2012 and are equipped with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. All bathrooms were modernised in November 2016.

Local Franconian cuisine, typical German dishes, and international specialities are served in the cosy, romantic hotel restaurant, or indeed outside on the terrace in fine weather. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.

The hotel is also happy to provide rooms and facilities for any functions or celebrations you may wish to hold here. You can choose between the modern, state-of-the-art Burgherrenstubm hall or the cosy, more traditional Alte Stubm lounge. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays.
